175 years of history

New City Gas' rich cultural history begins in 1847. At the time, the New City Gas Company of Montreal used the site to transform coal into natural gas to light the streets of the city.

10 years of culture

Today, our natural resources take the form of art, music and dining experiences. Our venue will make Montreal shine and we hope that the #NCG10 programming will give you the opportunity to feel the unique energy that inhabits our spaces.
Through acknowledging the past and celebrating the present, we can build the future of New City Gas together.
